यथा प्रबोधिनी पुण्या तथा यस्यां स्वपेद्धरिः ॥ उपोष्या हि महाभागे त्वनन्तफलदा हि सा

yathā prabodhinī puṇyā tathā yasyāṁ svaped dhariḥ || upoṣyā hi mahābhāge tv anantaphaladā hi sā

ดังเช่นวันปรโพธินีเป็นวันอันมีบุญฉันใด วันซึ่งกล่าวกันว่าพระหริบรรทมก็มีบุญฉันนั้น. โอ ผู้มีบุญยิ่ง, ควรถืออุโบสถอดอาหารในวันนั้นจริง ๆ เพราะเป็นผู้ประทานผลอันไม่สิ้นสุด
