स्वस्थो भव महाभाग मा स्म शोके मनः कृथाः ॥ इत्युक्तः स तु गोकर्णस्तदा तेन शुकेन च ॥

svastho bhava mahābhāga mā sma śoke manaḥ kṛthāḥ | ity uktaḥ sa tu gokarṇas tadā tena śukena ca ||

“ท่านผู้มีบุญยิ่ง จงเป็นสุขเถิด อย่าให้ใจตั้งอยู่ในความโศก” ดังนี้ ในกาลนั้น ศุกะได้กล่าวแก่โคกรณะ
