ततो धर्मोऽब्रवीत् सर्वमिदं पालितवानहम् । इदानीमप्युपगते कथमेतद्भविष्यति ॥ १७.४८ ॥

tato dharmo 'bravīt sarvam idaṁ pālitavān aham | idānīm apy upagate katham etad bhaviṣyati || 17.48 ||

แล้วพระธรรมตรัสว่า “เราคุ้มครองสิ่งทั้งปวงนี้มา บัดนี้เมื่อกาลนี้มาถึงแล้ว สิ่งนี้จักเป็นไปอย่างไร?”
