The Procedure and Merit of Circumambulating Mathurā

श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ भद्रे शृणु महत्पुण्यं पृथिव्यां सर्वतोदिशम् ॥ परिक्रम्य यथाध्वानं प्रमाणगणितं शुभम् ॥

śrīvarāha uvāca || bhadre śṛṇu mahat-puṇyaṃ pṛthivyāṃ sarvato-diśam || parikramya yathādhvānaṃ pramāṇa-gaṇitaṃ śubham ||

พระศรีวราหะตรัสว่า “โอ้ผู้เป็นมงคล จงฟังเถิด บุญอันยิ่งใหญ่มีอยู่ทั่วทุกทิศบนแผ่นดิน—ว่าด้วยการทำประทักษิณาแล้ว จึงคำนวณกำหนดระยะทางอันเป็นมงคลได้อย่างไร”
