आदित्यस्त्वं युगावर्तास्त्वं तपस्वी महातपाः ॥ अप्रमानः प्रमेयोऽसि ऋषीणां च महानृषिः ॥
ādityas tvaṃ yugāvartās tvaṃ tapasvī mahātapāḥ || apramāṇaḥ prameyo 'si ṛṣīṇāṃ ca mahānṛṣiḥ ||
พระองค์คืออาทิตยะ คือพระอาทิตย์; พระองค์คือจุดผันแปรแห่งยุคทั้งหลาย พระองค์คือผู้บำเพ็ญตบะ เป็นมหาตปัสวี พระองค์เหนือการวัดประมาณ แต่ก็เป็นสิ่งที่รู้ได้ด้วยปรมาณะ (หลักรู้ที่ถูกต้อง); ในหมู่นฤๅษี พระองค์คือนฤๅษีผู้ยิ่งใหญ่
