तस्याप्यर्द्धशतेनाथ पञ्चाशच्च ततोऽर्द्धकम् ॥ यथाशक्त्या प्रदातव्या वित्तशाठ्यं विवर्जयेत् ॥

tasyāpy arddhaśatenātha pañcāśac ca tato'rddhakam || yathāśaktyā pradātavyā vittaśāṭhyaṃ vivarjayet ||

ในทานนั้น จะถวายแม้เพียงครึ่งร้อย หรือห้าสิบ หรือครึ่งของนั้นก็ได้ พึงให้ตามกำลัง และพึงละเว้นการคดโกงในทรัพย์สิน
