เมื่อทรงอวตารเป็นวามนะ โอ้ศัตรูแห่งอสูร พระองค์ทรงผูกมัดพญาพลิ มหาไทตยะหิรัณยाक्षะถูกปราบ และหิรัณยกศิปุก็ถูกสังหาร
