इन्दुमत्युवाच । त्वं वेत्सि भगवन्सर्वमतीतानागतं विभो । पृच्छे त्वां कौतुकाविष्टा तस्मात्त्वं क्षंतुमर्हसि
indumatyuvāca | tvaṃ vetsi bhagavansarvamatītānāgataṃ vibho | pṛcche tvāṃ kautukāviṣṭā tasmāttvaṃ kṣaṃtumarhasi
อินทุมตีกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ภควन् ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นใหญ่ (วิภู) พระองค์ทรงรู้ทุกสิ่ง ทั้งอดีตและอนาคต ข้าพเจ้าถูกความใคร่รู้ครอบงำจึงทูลถาม ขอพระองค์โปรดอดกลั้นและให้อภัยด้วยเถิด”
