गर्जंतं सोऽपि तं दृष्ट्वा प्रसर्पंतं च वीचिभिः । तामाह किमिदं भद्रे भीतो मे लवणोदधिः
garjaṃtaṃ so'pi taṃ dṛṣṭvā prasarpaṃtaṃ ca vīcibhiḥ | tāmāha kimidaṃ bhadre bhīto me lavaṇodadhiḥ
ครั้นเห็นมหาสมุทรนั้นคำรามและซัดสาดรุกมาด้วยคลื่น เขาจึงกล่าวแก่นางว่า “โอ้ผู้เจริญ นี่คืออะไร? ทะเลเค็มดูประหนึ่งหวาดกลัวเรา”
