ḍiṃḍirūpa dharo bhūtvā rudraḥ prāha tapodhanān | yanmayā bhavatāṃ kāryaṃ kartavyaṃ tadihocyatām

เมื่อทรงถือรูปฑิณฑิ พระรุทระตรัสแก่ฤๅษีผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะว่า “กิจใดที่ท่านทั้งหลายประสงค์ให้เราทำ กิจอันพึงกระทำ จงกล่าว ณ ที่นี้เถิด”
