एतस्मात्कारणाद्देवि तव वाक्यान्मयाऽनघे । न कृतोऽनुग्रहस्तेषां सरोषाणां तपस्विनाम्

ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง โอ้เทวี โอ้ผู้ปราศจากมลทิน ตามถ้อยคำของท่าน ข้าจึงมิได้ประทานพระกรุณาแก่เหล่าฤๅษีผู้บำเพ็ญตบะที่ยังคุกรุ่นด้วยโทสะนั้น
