अग्निजिह्वो दर्भरोमा ब्रह्मशीर्षो महातपाः । अहोरात्रेक्षणपरो वेदांगश्रुतिभूषणः

agnijihvo darbharomā brahmaśīrṣo mahātapāḥ | ahorātrekṣaṇaparo vedāṃgaśrutibhūṣaṇaḥ

พระชิวหาของท่านคืออัคนี ขนกายคือหญ้าทรรภะ พระเศียรคือพรหมา; ท่านเป็นมหาตปัสวี—เฝ้าดูอยู่เนืองนิตย์ทั้งกลางวันและกลางคืน ประดับด้วยศรุติและเวทางคะ
