इत्युक्ता क्रोधताम्राक्षी पितरं वाक्यमब्रवीत् । मम रूपस्य कोट्यंशे किं कोप्यस्ति जगत्त्रये । तच्छ्रुत्वा चाद्भुतं वाक्यं पिता माता च मोहितौ

ityuktā krodhatāmrākṣī pitaraṃ vākyamabravīt | mama rūpasya koṭyaṃśe kiṃ kopyasti jagattraye | tacchrutvā cādbhutaṃ vākyaṃ pitā mātā ca mohitau

ครั้นถูกกล่าวดังนั้น นางกัญญาผู้มีดวงตาแดงด้วยโทสะจึงกล่าวแก่บิดาว่า “ในไตรโลก มีผู้ใดเล่าที่มีแม้เพียงเศษเสี้ยวหนึ่งในล้านส่วนแห่งรูปโฉมของเรา?” ครั้นได้ฟังวาจาอัศจรรย์นั้น บิดามารดาทั้งสองก็ตะลึงงัน
