तासां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दुःखार्तानां प्रजापतिः । ब्रह्मतेजः समायुक्तः पुत्रीस्नेहेन कर्षितः । जगाम यत्र ऋक्षेशो वचनं चेदमब्रवीत्
tāsāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā duḥkhārtānāṃ prajāpatiḥ | brahmatejaḥ samāyuktaḥ putrīsnehena karṣitaḥ | jagāma yatra ṛkṣeśo vacanaṃ cedamabravīt
เมื่อประจาปติ (ทักษะ) ได้ยินถ้อยคำของธิดาทั้งหลายผู้ทุกข์ระทม ก็ผู้เปี่ยมด้วยรัศมีพรหมเตชะและถูกฉุดด้วยความรักต่อธิดา ได้ไปยังที่ซึ่งเจ้าแห่งหมู่ดาวสถิตอยู่ แล้วกล่าวถ้อยคำนี้
