यज्ञोपवीतं च ततस्तेन विप्रेण बोधितः । यं कञ्चिद्द्रक्ष्यसे लोके भ्रमन्तं भूतले द्विजम्

yajñopavītaṃ ca tatastena vipreṇa bodhitaḥ | yaṃ kañciddrakṣyase loke bhramantaṃ bhūtale dvijam

แล้วด้วยคำสั่งสอนของพราหมณ์นั้น เขาจึงได้รับการสวมยัชโญปวีต คือสายสิญจน์อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ “ผู้ใดก็ตามที่เจ้าพบเห็นในโลกนี้ เป็นทวิชผู้จาริกอยู่บนแผ่นดิน…”
