उद्दिश्य कुपितो हत्वा तोषितं वासयेत्पुनः । तस्मिन्मृते न दोषोऽस्ति द्वयोरुच्छ्रावणे कृते

uddiśya kupito hatvā toṣitaṃ vāsayetpunaḥ | tasminmṛte na doṣo'sti dvayorucchrāvaṇe kṛte

หากด้วยโทสะและด้วยเจตนาเฉพาะได้ตีหรือฆ่าผู้ใด พึงกลับไปทำให้เขาพอใจแล้วตั้งให้อยู่โดยสงบอีกครั้ง และแม้เขาจะตาย ก็ไม่มีโทษ หากได้ทำการประกาศตามพิธีแก่ทั้งสองฝ่ายแล้ว
