ततस्तु तर्प्पयेन्मंत्रान्सर्वांस्तांस्तु कराग्रजैः । तुलनादूर्ध्वतो देवान्सव्येन च मुनींस्तथा । पितॄंश्चैवापसव्येन हृद्बीजेन प्रतर्पयेत्
tatastu tarppayenmaṃtrānsarvāṃstāṃstu karāgrajaiḥ | tulanādūrdhvato devānsavyena ca munīṃstathā | pitṝṃścaivāpasavyena hṛdbījena pratarpayet
จากนั้นพึงทำตัรปณะถวายแก่บรรดามนต์ทั้งปวงด้วยปลายนิ้วมือ จากบริเวณเหนือจุดสมดุลใกล้อก พึงทำให้เหล่าเทวะพอใจด้วยมือซ้าย และเหล่ามุนีเช่นเดียวกัน; ส่วนบรรพชนพึงทำให้พอใจด้วยวิธีอปสัวยะ โดยใช้หฤท-พีชะ (พยางค์เมล็ดแห่งหทัย)
