Scene: The fifth ṛc concludes; the priest lifts a jeweled crown and gently sets it upon the radiant Sūrya image. The crown glitters like sunrise on the sea; attendants hold lamps and flowers.
Devotional worship becomes complete when inner reverence is expressed through proper offerings (upacāras) guided by mantra.
