सावित्र्युवाच । सकृज्जल्पंति राजानः सकृज्जल्पंति ब्राह्मणाः । सकृत्कन्या प्रदीयेत त्रीण्येतानि सकृत्सकृत्
sāvitryuvāca | sakṛjjalpaṃti rājānaḥ sakṛjjalpaṃti brāhmaṇāḥ | sakṛtkanyā pradīyeta trīṇyetāni sakṛtsakṛt
สาวิตรีกล่าวว่า: “กษัตริย์กล่าวถ้อยคำสัตย์เพียงครั้งเดียว พราหมณ์ก็กล่าวเพียงครั้งเดียว และการยกธิดาให้ในพิธีวิวาห์ก็มีเพียงครั้งเดียว—ทั้งสามนี้เป็น ‘ครั้งเดียวเท่านั้น’.”
