īśvara uvāca | kṛtasmarādbrahmakuṃḍaṃ yameśātsāgarāvadhi | etadaṃtaramāsādya pāpī cāpi vimucyate
Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra corridor (Kṛtasmarā–Brahmakuṇḍa; Yameśvara–Samudra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Īśvara delineates the holy tract: markers of Kṛtasmarā, Brahmakuṇḍa, Yameśvara, and the shimmering ocean edge; pilgrims entering the corridor are shown shedding dark stains of sin as light surrounds them.
Contact with a consecrated sacred landscape (kṣetra) is portrayed as powerfully purificatory, capable of freeing even the sinful.
The verse explicitly glorifies the tract bounded by Kṛtasmarā–Brahmakuṇḍa and Yameśvara–the ocean within Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
The implied practice is pilgrimage/approach (āsādya) to the kṣetra; no specific snāna/dāna is stated in this line.
