तस्याः कर्णौ त्रोटयित्वा पुप्लुवेऽहं जले स्थितः । ततः कोलाहलस्तत्र कृतस्तत्पुरवासिभिः

tasyāḥ karṇau troṭayitvā pupluve'haṃ jale sthitaḥ | tataḥ kolāhalastatra kṛtastatpuravāsibhiḥ

ครั้นฉีกกระชากหูของนางแล้ว ข้าก็ดำผุดลงไป อยู่ในน้ำต่อไป จากนั้นชาวเมือง ณ ที่นั้นก็พากันก่อเสียงอื้ออึงใหญ่หลวง
