भस्मशायी भस्मदिग्धो नृत्त गीतैरतोषयत् । जपेन वृषनादैश्च तपसा भावितः शुचिः

bhasmaśāyī bhasmadigdho nṛtta gītairatoṣayat | japena vṛṣanādaiśca tapasā bhāvitaḥ śuciḥ

เขานอนบนเถ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์และทาเถ้าทั่วกาย ทำให้พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพอพระทัยด้วยการร่ายรำและขับร้อง ด้วยชปะ การสวดเสียงพระเวท และตบะ เขาถูกขัดเกลาจนบริสุทธิ์ภายใน
