ईश्वर उवाच । मनसा चिन्तयित्वैवं कृष्णो नारदमब्रवीत् । नह्यहं श्रद्दधाम्येतद्यदेतद्भाषितं पुरा
īśvara uvāca | manasā cintayitvaivaṃ kṛṣṇo nāradamabravīt | nahyahaṃ śraddadhāmyetadyadetadbhāṣitaṃ purā
พระผู้เป็นเจ้าตรัสว่า ครั้นทรงใคร่ครวญในพระทัยดังนี้แล้ว พระกฤษณะจึงตรัสแก่นารทว่า “เรามิได้เชื่อโดยแท้ในถ้อยคำที่กล่าวสืบมาแต่กาลก่อนเช่นนี้”
