शुकेनावेदितो वह्निः शप्त्वा तं मन्युना वृतः । गद्गदा भावि ते वाणी प्रोक्त्वेदं प्रस्थितो द्रुतम्

เมื่อศุกะชี้บอกที่อยู่ของวหฺนี (อัคนี) แล้ว อัคนีผู้ถูกโทสะครอบงำก็สาปเขาว่า “วาจาของเจ้าจักสั่นเครือ ติดขัดเป็นตะกุกตะกัก” ครั้นกล่าวแล้วก็จากไปโดยเร็ว
