इत्युक्तो गुरुणा सोऽपि मातरं चाभ्यभाषत । किंचिद्ग्राह्यं मया मातः सन्तोषो दीयतां मम
ityukto guruṇā so'pi mātaraṃ cābhyabhāṣata | kiṃcidgrāhyaṃ mayā mātaḥ santoṣo dīyatāṃ mama
ครั้นถูกอาจารย์กล่าวเช่นนั้น เขาจึงกราบเรียนภรรยาของอาจารย์ว่า: “แม่เจ้า โปรดรับสิ่งใดสักนิดจากข้าพเจ้า เพื่อให้ความพอใจสงบใจได้ประทานแก่ข้าพเจ้า”
