ต่อมา พระองค์ทรงถือไม้เท้าไว้เอง และทรงพิทักษ์คุ้มครอง โดยปรากฏกายในรูปแพะ ดังนี้แลเป็นไปแก่พระนเรนทรเมื่อทรงดำรงอยู่บนแผ่นดิน
