सूत उवाच । तदन्वयसमुत्थायाः कन्यकायाः करेण यः । पादुकाभ्यां नरः पूजां प्रकरोति समाहितः । इह लोके सुखं प्राप्य स स्यात्प्रेत्य सुखान्वितः

sūta uvāca | tadanvayasamutthāyāḥ kanyakāyāḥ kareṇa yaḥ | pādukābhyāṃ naraḥ pūjāṃ prakaroti samāhitaḥ | iha loke sukhaṃ prāpya sa syātpretya sukhānvitaḥ

สูตะกล่าวว่า: “บุรุษผู้มีจิตตั้งมั่น บูชาปาทุกาอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ด้วยมือของกุมารีผู้บังเกิดในสายสืบทางธรรม ย่อมได้สุขในโลกนี้ และครั้นละสังขารแล้วก็เปี่ยมสุขในปรโลกด้วย”
