श्रीभगवानुवाच । या सा अंबेति विख्याता शक्तिः सा परमेश्वरी । जगन्माताऽक्षया साक्षान्ममा पि जननी च सा

พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสว่า: ศักติที่เลื่องชื่อว่า ‘อัมพา’ นั่นแลคือพระปรเมศวรี นางคือมารดาแห่งจักรวาล เป็นผู้ไม่เสื่อมสูญโดยแท้—และนางนั้นเองก็เป็นมารดาของเราเช่นกัน
