itaścetaśca dhāvadbhirdānavairebhireva ca | vṛthā me jāyate pīḍā tathānyairapi dāruṇaiḥ

ด้วยเหล่าทานวะที่วิ่งวุ่นไปทุกทิศ และด้วยสรรพสัตว์อำมหิตอื่น ๆ ด้วย ความทุกข์ก็เกิดแก่ข้าพเจ้าอย่างไร้การพักพ้น เปล่าประโยชน์นัก
