yasya vā guṇasandohastasya no rūpamuttamam | pakṣapātaṃ ca vittaṃ ca tathānyadvaralakṣaṇam

หรือหากผู้ใดมีหมู่คุณธรรมมากมาย ก็อาจขาดรูปโฉมอันประเสริฐ; ส่วนอีกผู้หนึ่งกลับมีความลำเอียง ทรัพย์สมบัติ และลักษณะอื่น ๆ ที่ผู้คนใฝ่หาในเจ้าบ่าว
