एवं तस्य व्रतस्थस्य जग्मुर्वर्षशतानि च । तत्र भीतास्ततो देवा ब्रह्मविष्णुपुरःसराः

evaṃ tasya vratasthasya jagmurvarṣaśatāni ca | tatra bhītāstato devā brahmaviṣṇupuraḥsarāḥ

ดังนี้ เมื่อเขามั่นคงอยู่ในพรต กาลเวลาผ่านไปนับร้อยปี ครั้นแล้วเหล่าเทพ—มีพระพรหมและพระวิษณุนำหน้า—ก็หวาดหวั่นเพราะตบะนั้น
