ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | etatskandapuraṃnāma tava nāmnā bhaviṣyati | camatkārapuraṃ tadvatsāṃprataṃ surasattama

เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “นครนี้จักมีนามว่า ‘สกันทปุระ’ ตามพระนามของท่าน และโอ้ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่เทพ บัดนี้จักเป็นที่รู้จักว่า ‘จมัตการปุระ’ ด้วยเช่นกัน”
