yatra bhaktiyutā lokāstarpayiṣyaṃti vai pitṝn | te'śvamedhaphalaṃ prāpya prayāsyaṃti parāṃ gatim
“ณ สถานที่นั้น ผู้คนผู้เปี่ยมศรัทธาภักดีจักทำตัรปณะบูชาปิตฤโดยแท้; ครั้นได้ผลแห่งอัศวเมธยัญแล้ว จักไปถึงคติอันสูงสุด”
Pitṛs (ancestors)
Tirtha: Rāmahrada
Type: kund
Listener: Rāma (and by extension future pilgrims)
Scene: Devotees at the hrada offer water with cupped hands and kuśa, invoking ancestors; a subtle celestial scale shows Aśvamedha merit outweighing ordinary acts; a path of light suggests ‘parā gati’.
Devotional ancestral rites at a sanctified tīrtha can yield extraordinary merit—comparable to major Vedic sacrifices—leading toward liberation.
Rāmahrada, where Pitṛ-tarpaṇa performed with bhakti grants exceptional fruit.
Perform Pitṛ-tarpaṇa with devotion at the tīrtha; the promised fruit is equated with Aśvamedha-phala.
