जमदग्निरुवाच । होमधेनुरियं राजन्ममैका प्राणसंमता । अदेया सर्वदा पूज्या तस्मान्नार्हसि याचितुम्

jamadagniruvāca | homadhenuriyaṃ rājanmamaikā prāṇasaṃmatā | adeyā sarvadā pūjyā tasmānnārhasi yācitum

ชามทัคนีกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่พระราชา โคโฮมธนูนี้เป็นของข้า เป็นทรัพย์หนึ่งเดียวอันรักยิ่งดุจชีวิต ไม่พึงยกให้แก่ผู้ใด ต้องบูชาเคารพเสมอ เพราะฉะนั้นพระองค์ไม่ควรขอเอาไป”
