ततस्तत्र तपस्तेपे गौरीं संस्थाप्य भक्तितः । तदग्रे व्रतमास्थाय यथोक्तं शास्त्र संभवम्

แล้ว ณ ที่นั้นเอง นางบำเพ็ญตบะ โดยตั้งประดิษฐานพระคุรี (คุรี/คौรี) ด้วยศรัทธา และต่อหน้าเทวีองค์นั้น นางถือวรตตามที่คัมภีร์ศาสตรากำหนดไว้โดยเคร่งครัด
