स्नानं कृत्वा ततः श्राद्धं चक्रे श्रद्धासमन्वितः । ततो भूयः समागत्य स तं प्रोवाच शतनुः
snānaṃ kṛtvā tataḥ śrāddhaṃ cakre śraddhāsamanvitaḥ | tato bhūyaḥ samāgatya sa taṃ provāca śatanuḥ
ครั้นอาบน้ำแล้ว เขาจึงประกอบศราทธะ (śrāddha) ด้วยศรัทธา ครั้นกลับมาอีกครั้ง พระศันตนุก็ตรัสกับเขาดังนี้
