Transliteration

uvāca vyarthaḥ śāpo'yaṃ tava datto mayā nṛpa | na ca me jāyate vākyamasatyaṃ hi kathaṃcana

Translation

เขากล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่มหาราช คำสาปที่ข้ามอบแก่ท่านกลับไร้ผล แต่จากข้านี้ไม่เคยมีวาจาเท็จเกิดขึ้นเลยไม่ว่ากรณีใด”
