अथ पप्रच्छ लोकान्स किमेतन्नगरं स्मृतम् । कोऽयं देशः कोऽत्र राजा किं पुरं नगरं च किम्
atha papraccha lokānsa kimetannagaraṃ smṛtam | ko'yaṃ deśaḥ ko'tra rājā kiṃ puraṃ nagaraṃ ca kim
แล้วพระองค์ทรงถามชาวเมืองว่า “นครนี้เรียกชื่อว่าอะไร? แคว้นนี้คือที่ใด? ใครเป็นกษัตริย์ที่นี่? และคำว่า ‘ปุระ’ หมายถึงอะไร คำว่า ‘นคร’ หมายถึงอะไร?”
