संत्यत्र पर्वतश्रेष्ठाः शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः । येषु सन्ति महाभागास्तापसाश्चिरजीविनः । नान्यथा जीवितं चास्य कथंचित्संभविष्यति

saṃtyatra parvataśreṣṭhāḥ śataśo'tha sahasraśaḥ | yeṣu santi mahābhāgāstāpasāścirajīvinaḥ | nānyathā jīvitaṃ cāsya kathaṃcitsaṃbhaviṣyati

ที่นี่มีภูเขาอันประเสริฐนับร้อยนับพัน ซึ่งเป็นที่พำนักของฤๅษีผู้ทรงตบะ ผู้มีบุญญาธิการและอายุยืนยาว มิฉะนั้นแล้ว ชีวิตของเขาย่อมไม่อาจดำรงรักษาไว้ได้เลย
