पीडयिष्यंति निर्दोषान्वित्तलोभादसंशयम् । वधार्हमपि संप्राप्य वित्तलोभान्मलिम्लुचम्

pīḍayiṣyaṃti nirdoṣānvittalobhādasaṃśayam | vadhārhamapi saṃprāpya vittalobhānmalimlucam

ด้วยความโลภในทรัพย์ เขาทั้งหลายจักรังแกผู้บริสุทธิ์โดยไม่ต้องสงสัย และแม้จับผู้ร้ายที่สมควรถูกลงโทษได้ ก็เพราะโลภทรัพย์เช่นเดิม จักปล่อยให้พ้นผิด
