श्रुतिस्मृत्युक्तमार्गेण न मातुर्विद्यते परम् । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय आनिनाय परिग्रहम्

śrutismṛtyuktamārgeṇa na māturvidyate param | sa tatheti pratijñāya ānināya parigraham

ตามมรรคาที่สอนในศรุติและสมฤติ ไม่มีสิ่งใดสูงส่งยิ่งกว่ามารดา เขากล่าวว่า “ตถาสตु” แล้วตั้งปณิธาน รับภาระหน้าที่อันพึงกระทำไว้
