सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा तुष्टस्तस्य पितामहः । ब्राह्मणत्वं स्वयं दत्त्वा ततः प्रोवाच सादरम्
sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā tuṣṭastasya pitāmahaḥ | brāhmaṇatvaṃ svayaṃ dattvā tataḥ provāca sādaram
สูตะกล่าวว่า ครั้นได้ฟังถ้อยคำนั้น ปิตามหะคือพระพรหมก็ทรงพอพระทัย ทรงประทานความเป็นพราหมณ์ด้วยพระหัตถ์เอง แล้วจึงตรัสกับเขาด้วยความเคารพ
