एतस्मिन्नंतरे विप्रो गर्हितः सोऽथ नागरैः । धिग्धिक्पाप वृथा वेदा ये त्वया पारिताः पुरा

etasminnaṃtare vipro garhitaḥ so'tha nāgaraiḥ | dhigdhikpāpa vṛthā vedā ye tvayā pāritāḥ purā

ครั้นแล้วพราหมณ์ผู้นั้นถูกชาวนครติเตียนว่า “ชิชะ! ชิชะ! โอ้คนบาป—พระเวทที่เจ้าศึกษามาแต่ก่อนนั้นช่างสูญเปล่า!”
