ครั้นจัดทำทานเป็นทองคำแล้ว ก็ถวายแด่พราหมณ์ผู้มหาตมัน ผู้เกี่ยวเนื่องกับคุรตา-ตีรถะ นามว่า วาตกะ เป็นอาหิตาคนี คือคฤหัสถ์ผู้ตั้งและรักษาไฟศักดิ์สิทธิ์
