rājovāca | yadi jñāsyāmi vipreṃdrāḥ kathayiṣyāmyasaṃśayam | devasyāgre ca saṃpṛṣṭaḥ satyenātmānamālabhe

พระราชาตรัสว่า: “โอ พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ หากเรารู้ เราจักกล่าวโดยไม่ลังเล และเมื่อถูกถามต่อพระพักตร์องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า เราขอผูกตนไว้ด้วยสัตย์จริง”
