vedarūpāśritā pūrvamāvirbhūtā tapobalāt | tato bhagavatā'diṣṭaḥ sṛja tvaṃ bahudhā prajāḥ

กาลก่อน ข้าพเจ้าพึ่งพารูปแห่งพระเวท และปรากฏขึ้นด้วยพลังตบะ; แล้วโดยพระบัญชาของพระผู้เป็นเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าถูกสั่งว่า “จงสร้างสรรพชีวิตให้หลากหลายประการ”
