apasavyaṃ tataḥ kṛtvā darbhāṃstilasamanvitān | dviguṇānprakṣipedbhūmau pitṝnuddiśya cātmanaḥ

ต่อจากนั้นให้ทำอปสัวยะ (คล้องสายศักดิ์สิทธิ์ไปด้านขวา) แล้ววางหญ้าทรรภะที่คลุกงา ลงบนพื้นดินเป็นสองเท่า พร้อมอุทิศแด่ปิตฤของตน
