ucchiṣṭasannidhau paścātpitṛvediṃ samācaret | pitṛviprāsanasthānāṃ nocchiṣṭaṃ dvijasannidhau

ต่อจากนั้น ในบริเวณที่ยังมีเศษอาหารอยู่ พึงประกอบพิธีเวทีบูชาปิตฤ (บรรพชน) แต่ต่อหน้าพราหมณ์ ห้ามวางเศษอาหารไว้ใกล้ที่นั่งของปิตฤและพราหมณ์
