pitṛpakṣe caturdaśyāṃ kanyāsaṃsthe divākare | pitāmaho na gṛhṇāti pitrā tena samaṃ tadā

ในปิตฤปักษะ วันจันทรคติที่สิบสี่ เมื่อพระอาทิตย์สถิตในราศีกันย์ ปิตามหะย่อมไม่รับเครื่องบูชา เพราะในกาลนั้นท่านอยู่ในฐานะเสมอกับบิดา
