पितुः पितामहस्यैव तत्पितुश्च ततः परम् । समुद्देशेन दत्तेन ब्राह्मणेभ्यः प्रभक्तितः
pituḥ pitāmahasyaiva tatpituśca tataḥ param | samuddeśena dattena brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prabhaktitaḥ
เพื่อบิดา ปิตามหะ และบิดาของท่านนั้นยิ่งขึ้นไป—เมื่อให้ทานแก่พราหมณ์ด้วยภักติอันจริงใจ โดยระบุชื่อบรรพชนไว้ในคำอุทิศ—ทานนั้นย่อมถึงท่านเหล่านั้น
